Busy spring passing the torch into summer!

Screen Project in prepaint

Browsing through our Etsy.com page, you will notice several varieties of household goods such as papertowel holders, shelf brackets, garden art with a utility "twist", plant hangers, hooks and so on.

The past two months have been quite busy with sales online as well as locally. So busy, that we missed updating June altogether. With July starting out the same way, we decided to get our focus back and keep you up to date on what has been happening with Adirondack Blacksmith.

Finishing up in mid-May, we had the screen project. Amber not only came up with the design but assisted in the build as well! The finished product was 43" x 33" and weighed 75 lbs. We hung the screen in an opening in the customers pergola which the screen was designed for. Side note: This particular pergola was also designed and largely built by Amber and I, working for another company. Check out the photo collage of this project by clicking the photo of the screen above.

June was such a busy month that we were unable to update the website (something we intend to not have happen again). However, the problem is a good one to have and we are thankful that what we offer is inline with items people are looking for...and there is more to come. Many changes are being implemented this summer to streamline our processes that continue to allow our aesthetic to shine through but take out the unnecessary time losses.

Lastly, New finishes in paint are being offered in July. We are currently offering flat, satin, semi-gloss and gloss currently in black, white, gray and clear-coat. Other colors may soon become available as well.

Many of the products made at Adirondack Blacksmith are originals created by inspiration or conceived of, by Barry exclusively. Though some may not, yet, be offered at this writing, they will be as 2015 progresses. At our Etsy store you may see a new and unique item pop up at any random moment throughout the year so keep checking in!

Any and all of our products will lend a unique style to any home with a quality, honest and timeless feel that you just don't often find in the big-box stores.

All of our products are proudly made in the USA, right at the foot of the Adirondack region at prices that don't suggest you need to be "of the arts" to appreciate them yourself!

Additionally, as of February 2015, we have begun offering custom orders through our Etsy store or you can visit our contacts page to reach Barry directly!

Customer copper finish

"Barry , The paper towel holder is a true work of art. It's quality and construction are superb. Every one who enters my kitchen makes a comment how unique it is. As you know I put a copper finish to it which gives it even more of an eye catching appearance. Thank you for the suggestions on the copper coatings I think you have a marvelous business thinking out side the box with your designs. I wish you only the best of luck. And plan to order more holders. I think they would make a wonderful house warming gift for friends and family"
